Rust Stains

 

 

Place stained fabric on a bed of white paper towels.
Apply lemon juice or white vinegar to the stain and rub in with a sponge.
Rinse with water and blot until dry.
If the stain persists, try applying a commercial stain removal product designed especially for rust stains.
Do not use chlorine bleach on a rust stain, because chlorine will make the stain set.
